This is one of my favorite spots in Hillcrest. You might miss the storefront, but it's worth keeping an eye out for it! The food tastes fresher than a lot of other take out Mexican, and it's super flavorful. I have liked their shrimp tacos, fish tacos, potato tacos, and California Burritos. The prices can't be beat. I was first drawn in by their aguas frescas...sooo good! But after trying their food I like everything about it!
Note: the number of stars has nothing to do with the fact that I have a crush on the owner ;) -

Must must must try the fish tacos! Fresh, crispy battered fish. The portions are huge and price reasonable. Ended up having a few tacos at the store and then brought some more home.
Also, great customer service.
Looking forward to my next visit. -

Excellent food at reasonable prices. Lunch specials for under $10! I had the adobada burrito special. The adobada was tender, moist and well seasoned, not dry and hard like I've had at other places. The chips are light crisp and fresh. Service was quick and really polite. I know it's a small place but absolutely worth it for a quick lunch break. I can't believe I haven't tried this place before!

This place is small, almost hidden on the street, since it has a small storefront and blends in with the building. There's indoor and outdoor seating. It's more unique in nature since it has mexican food and regular lunch stuff such as salads and sandwiches, it's a better quality taco shop than what's in the area. The service is nice, although my order was wrong it was remade.
I got the potato rolled taco combo, which comes with rice beans and a soda for less than $6, which is fairly nice. The rolled tacos are not the most flavorful, but the guacamole and salsa helped. The beans and rice are pretty average. The plate itself is good for a lunch, or even an early dinner.
